About Michelle, the owner...

  Michelle Sholund, the owner of Grammy's Country Collectibles, is a Maryland native with Hawaiian and Pennsylvania hertiages. Michelle currently lives with her husband Mark, three dogs - Hayley, Teddy, and Kaiser, in Reisterstown, MD - right outside of Baltimore, MD. The cottage house she lives in is located on 1.2 acres of beautiful land which is home to apple trees, peach trees, a small grape vineyard and other fruit bushes. The property is also devoted to herb and rose gardens - some still in the planning and planting stages. Michelle doens't have a brick and mortar store as she works out of her home, growing, making, and selling her own blends of potpourri and other crafts. She encourages folks to come out to the shows she sells at to meet all who are looking to share stories as well as sample and buy products. Michelle has been a long time craft artist starting with making pine cone wreaths when she was in 6th grade. Since then she has worked in mediums such as painting, flower arranging, and canning of preserves all by the time she was 25. Michelle's school background is also in the arts graduating from Anne Arundel Community College with a Fine Arts Degree in Music and later attending Towson University for Music,with a primary instrument being the violin. Since college, Michelle has been making and selling her products at arts and craft fairs and even promoted the Mid-Atlantic Crafter Expo which was held in Annapolis, MD and now the MD Four Seasons Fine Art and Craft Markets in Westminster, MD.
